Pilibhit Tiger Reserve is home of about over 326 species of resident and migratory birds, many of them are very rare and endangered. The great diversity of habitat in Pilibhit is depicted in its revealing diversity in the bird life. The rich bird life in Pilibhit includes species like Swamp Francolin , Great Hornbill, Bengal Florican , Lesser Florican, Black Francolin, Jungle Bush Quail, Red Junglefowl, Asian Openbill, Adjutant Stork, Ibis, Emerald Dove, Alexandrine Parakeet, Tawny Fish Owl, Minivet, Golden Oriole, Indian Pitta, Chestnut-bellied Nuthatch, Bushchat, Stonechat , Flycatcher and Red Avadavat .
An astounding count of over 25-30 birds of prey include the Common Buzzard, Steppe Eagle, Red-necked Falcon, Pied Harrier, Merlin and Pallas' Fish Eagle to name a few, provide a remarkable character to the avifauna. This inborn profuseness in bird life increases even further during winter with the arrival of horde migrants – some, like osprey and ducks, coming all the way from Europe, Central Asia, Russia and Alaska along with many Himalayan birds from lofty regions who come to take refuge in Pilibhit to alleviation the extreme conditions in the mountains above. These include many great barbet, woodpeckers, wagtail and the flycatchers. Barahi and Haripur zone is a place where you look out for vultures like the White-backed, Long-billed, Red-headed or king Vulture, Egyptian Vulture, Griffon and the Cinerous.

Welcome Dinner and Bonfire
Day 2



Morning Wetland and Swampland Birding at Sharda Sagar Reservoir or other Lake for Winter Migrants Birds and Resident water birds . Type of Birds Stork, Gadwall, Pintail, Mallard, Pochard, Tufted Duck, Goose, Bittern, Heron, Egret, Cormorant, Darter etc.

Day 3



Afternoon Dense sal forest and Mix forest Birding at forest area. Type of Birds Woodpecker, Drongo, Tit, Bulul, Flycatcher, Flowerpecker, Sunbird, Thrush, Nuthatch, Warbler, Monarch, Oriole etc.

Day 4



Morning Camp side birding - Type of birds Scarlet minivet , Treepie, Myna, Yellow-crowned Woodpecker, Goldenback Woodpecker, Grey Hornbill, Jungle Owlet, Robin, Sunbird, Wagtail , Bulbul etc. Conclusion of the trip with the award of participatory certificate
